Free School Meals

Only children whose parents/guardians are eligible under the following categories are entitled to free school meals:

 

  • Income Support
  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
  • Support under part VI of the immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Child Tax Credit - where parents of children are in receipt of Child Tax Credit but who are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and whose annual income does not exceed the income threshold set by the Treasury
  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
